Single and double wall round ductwork

Spiro Metal Canada Inc single-wall, round duct is fabricated to exacting tolerances that make it easy to assemble and essentially leak free. Round duct costs less to install than rectangular duct and because of its efficiency, a round duct system offers lower operating costs. Three standard types of single-wall, round duct are available: spiral lockseam, spiral lockseam with a standing rib, and longitudinal seam.

Spiro Metal Inc double-wall, round duct is fabricated to exacting tolerances that make it easy to assemble and essentially leak free. This insulated duct provides excellent acoustical and thermal control with the efficient airflow performance of single-wall round duct.

Single and double wall flat oval duct

For applications in which space restrictions prohibit the use of round duct, Spiro Metal Canada Inc offers flat oval duct in spiral lockseam and longitudinal seam constructions. Flat oval duct provides a more efficient alternative to rectangular duct in these applications. Spiro Metal Inc manufactures flat oval duct with the same techniques used to make round duct. As a result, flat oval duct shares many of the performance characteristics of round duct. Compared with rectangular duct, it provides lower installation costs and, because of reduced leakage and pressure loss, lower operating costs.

For applications in which space restrictions prohibit the use of round duct, Spiro Metal Canada Inc offers double-wall, flat oval duct in spiral lockseam and longitudinal seam constructions. Each piece is constructed of a solid metal pressure shell and a metal inner liner (either perforated or solid metal) with a layer of insulation sandwiched between.

A complete line of fittings designed for low leakage and efficient performance is available for use with Spiro Metal Inc single-wall, round duct. Each fitting is sized accurately to allow easy field assembly. Fittings are available in gasketed and non-gasketed profiles in solid welded, spot or tack welded and sealed, lap, riveted (or screwed) and standing seam constructions. Single-wall, round fittings can be supplied with an insulating liner to match our single-wall, round lined duct.

Single and double wall rectangular duct and fittings

Spiro Metal Inc single-wall, rectangular duct and fittings are factory fabricated to furnish you with a high-quality line of products in a broad range of standard sizes. To minimize field-assembly costs, rectangular duct is supplied in lengths up to 6 feet. Longitudinal seams are typically made with Pittsburgh locks or button-punch snap locks. In addition to economical TDC transverse duct connectors, S & drive slip joints, four-bolt connectors, and applied duct connectors are available. Rectangular ductwork can be shipped completely assembled or knocked down. Spiro Metal Inc standard rectangular products are fabricated to meet SMACNA’s 1995 duct construction standards. Plus, we can custom fabricate rectangular ductwork for commercial and industrial applications according to your specifications.
